SHOT | DESCRIPTION | |
1 | High Angle Medium Long Shot (MLS) | Charley is standing outside the library, holding her stomach looking upset and staring at the piece of paper she is holding. |
2 | Long Shot (LS) | Charley walks into the library; this shows where they are and where she’ll run out of later in the script. |
3 | Medium Long Shot (MLS) | Bobbi spots Charley and waves at her, calling her over to sit down with her and Katie at the table. |
4 | Medium Shot (MS) | Charley, Katie and Bobbi all sat at the table together, this sets the scene of where the conversations are going to take place. |
5 | Medium Close Up (MCU) | Bobbi comforts Charley, says bye to them both then walks off out of the shot so that it’s just Katie and Charley left at the table. |
6 | Extreme Close Up (ECU) | Charley starts crying as she is becoming more and more upset as she knows she has to tell Katie the news. |
7 | Close Up (CU) | Katie asks Charley what’s wrong and why she is so upset |
8 | Close Up (CU) | Charley has her hands covering her face and then tells Katie that she’s pregnant and that Katie’s boyfriend is the father. |
9 | Medium Close Up (MCU) | Katie is angry with Charley and slams her hands on the table showing just how angry she is at Charley. |
10 | Medium Shot (MS) | Charley is upset and telling Katie continuously that she’s sorry and that it was all a silly mistake. |
11 | Medium Shot (MS) | Katie tells Charley to get out and go away from her, she points at the door to show that she wants Charley to use it and get out of her sight. |
12 | Three-quarter Shot (3/4 shot) | Charley gets up and runs off, the ¾ shot will show part of the location and the door that Charley is running out of. |
13 | Medium Long Shot (MLS) | Charley slams the library door behind her as she runs off the screen then fades to black. |
