After we completed the table as a group, we then began to edit the rushes together and began to see the film coming together. We cut the rushes that we didn’t want to use and edited carefully the shots we wanted to make sure we could get the continuity as good as we could. There were some problems here and we worked quite a lot of cutting the shot where Charley enters the library as the continuity didn’t work very well to start with. After editing it around a little we manage to increase the continuity and make it look slightly better. After we'd sorted out the continuity problem we continued to put together the rushes until we had successfully got them together, in the right order and saw the draft of our film come together.
The table below shows how our group logged the rushes together in a clear, understandable table:
In code | Out code | Scene | Shot | Take | Description | Yes/no |
00:00:03:11 | 00:00:12:06 | 1 | 1 | 1 | Charley walking into the library | Yes |

00:00:22:11 | 00:00:30:02 | 1 | 5 | 1 | Charley walks towards the table | Yes |
00:00:27:13 | 00:00:30:14 | 1 | 6 | 1 | Charley sits at the table and starts talking | Yes |
00:00:30:14 | 00:00:34:04 | 1 | 7 | 1 | Bobbi leaves | Yes |

Once the draft of our film was completed we all as a group watched it through closely looking out for any mistakes that were obvious to the audience. There were a few noticeable errors that we had to adjust and edit within our film such as when Charley walks over to sit down at the table with Katie and I. There was a mistake here as the number of footsteps Charley takes to get to the table showed a continuity error that we had to edit, but as we couldn't re-film due to time issues we had to do the best we could with what we had.
Our group decided that we weren't going to use any backing music as the diegetic sound in our location of our voices was just about right anyway and it's clear in the film that our voices can be heard quite easily and clearly. Any non-diegetic music that we could've used such as sad, slow background music would've probably ruined the atmosphere and made it seem less realistic to the audience so I feel we made the right decision of leaving it out. We then as a group decided to add effects to the beginning and end, such as stripes and a title at the beginning and credits at the end. Also we decided to add cross fade effects at the beginning and end of our footage.
